Our Story

Born from a Dream, Lit by Love

β€œWhat if nobody wants my candles?” That's the thought that almost stopped Flickr Candles from existing.

In August 2024, in a small NYC apartment, the first Flickr candle was poured. Self-doubt was loud. Experience was zero. But the desire to celebrate cultural heritage through art was louder.

Now based in Toronto, Flickr Candles has grown into a community of 4,400+ people who believe that traditions deserve to be celebrated, preserved, and shared in beautiful new ways.

Cultural. Artistic. Mindful.

Three words that guide everything we create.

Cultural

Every candle celebrates the rich traditions and festivals that connect us to our roots β€” Lohri, Holi, Diwali, Ramadan, and more.

Artistic

Each candle is a miniature work of art. From realistic bonfire sculptures to sweet-inspired designs, we push the boundaries of candle artistry.

Mindful

Pure soy wax. No real petals or nuts for safety. Every ingredient is chosen with care β€” for your home, your health, and the planet.
